Here are the four main reasons why we believe that the fall is going to be the best time to sell a home in 2021:
1. Your house will sell quickly. When your home hits this market, it’s going to see lots of showings and buyers because demand is high right now. They will make their best offers right out of the gate, and you won’t waste a lot of time with buyers who are on the fence.
2. Homes are receiving multiple offers. In July 2021, the average home sold with 4.1 offers, which was up from 2.9 in July 2020. If you’re a seller, having multiple offers means you get the best price and the best terms.

3. Low inventory means less competition. With low supply, your home would be in the spotlight. If there are no new houses listed, it would only take us three to four weeks to sell off the available inventory. That’s more great news for a seller.
4. With low interest rates, you can afford more. Interest rates are just about as low as they have ever been, but they’re projected to go up slightly in the next few quarters. Even a small change in rates will increase your payment, which makes now all the more situated for buying a home.
